Our approach

Every project begins with an on-site measure and consultation. We take the time to understand your home, your needs and how you use the space, then advise on suitable materials and finishes. We design your joinery in both 2D and 3D CAD, helping you visualise the finished result before production begins. We can refine the design through multiple iterations until you’re happy with the final outcome.

Decking - Composite & Timber

Cilia Design have designed and constructed many timber and composite decks over the years.
We recommend to use Choose timber for a natural, cool-underfoot aesthetic and lower environmental impact but accept higher maintenance needs, while composite is superior for its durability, low-maintenance requirements, and resistance to moisture, rot, and pests, though it can get hot and has less natural warmth.

Our client had requested custom designed and constructed storage shed to match the profile and style of their beautiful home. CDG worked with the client, producing schematic through to working drawings to build their sepcific needs.

Custom Storage Solution - Kensington

Smart Design. Seamless Integration. Practical Storage.

Our client wanted to transform an unattractive timber boundary fence into a stylish, functional feature while incorporating a practical storage solution for bicycles and garden equipment.

With limited space available, we Designed & Constructed a custom garden shed measuring 4 m long, just 0.6m deep and 2.4 metres high, maximising storage capacity without compromising valuable outdoor space.

Using a contemporary composite cladding system with concealed door hinges, we created a sleek, seamless finish that cleverly disguises the storage compartments within the wall.

The result is a modern Architectural feature that not only conceals the existing fence but also provides discreet, easily accessible storage for everyday outdoor essentials.

Cilia Design Group, have collaborated with Custom Steel Doors and Windows, to transform existing spaces with beautifully crafted steel-framed doors and glazing.

Our projects have involved replacing outdated timber doors and windows with stunning, contemporary steel-framed alternatives, bringing a sophisticated Architectural finish to both traditional and modern homes.

With their slimline profiles, expansive glazing & timeless industrial elegance, steel doors and windows create a striking visual statement while maximising natural light and enhancing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
